The 2018 Lincolnshire Urban League Series starts again in June. As last year, it will be hosted jointly by LOG & HALO and have weekly events on either a Wednesday or a Thursday evening, making the most of urban terrain in the north and centre of the county.
Start times for all races are between 5:45pm and 7.15pm, with registration open from 5:30pm. Courses close at 8pm. There will be 3 courses available at each event. All will be standard ‘line’ courses, with the short being geared towards juniors in terms of minimal road crossings and difficulty.
- approx 2-3km; TD2-3 (Yellow – Orange)
- approx 3-4km; TD3 (Orange)
- approx 5-6km; TD3 (Long Orange)
Entry fee is £4.00 for LOG/BO members, £5.00 for non-members, £2.00 for juniors and includes SI dibber hire.
Points will be awarded on the basis of 50pts for the winner of each course, reducing by 1pt for each place below this. There will be end of series prizes for the best male and female on the Medium & Long courses and the best overall runner on the Short, with the best 3 events from the maximum of 6 counting overall, with count-back on next best scores used to split any ties.
There will also be a club competition between LOG and HALO running alongside this, where each club’s total will be calculated on the number of ‘away’ scorers at each event.
