LOG’s Fight the Night series held it’s ‘cup final’ night at West Common last night, with the top 8 seeds from the previous weeks’ pool groups battling it out for the coveted FtN Handicap Cup. The orienteering was fast and frenetic and the planner made cunning use of both the terrain and urban sections to challenge the leading contenders to see who could bag the most controls in the 45 minutes available. The top four was hotly contested, with only 8 points separating fourth from 1st. The winner on the night was Liam Harrington (also ‘Best Non-Handicap Total across the series), with Marcus Lancastle in second and Paul Barnes in third.
