Thanks to everyone who came along to our club championships event hosted by NOC at Strawberry Hill & Ransom Wood. First of all, we want to give a big thanks to NOC for hosting us again, and putting on a separate course for us.
On the Chocolate Orange course, we had a head-to-head between the two May children, with Isabel getting the better of younger brother, Michael, this time around and taking home the Chocolate Orange trophy for the first time.
On the Blue Riband senior event, our fastest trio on the day were Craig Lucas, Paul Murgatroyd and Liam Harrington, finishing in 33:49, 34:42 & 34:55 respectively. But when it came to who could best their predicted time, and take home the coveted Blue Riband Trophy, it was Amanda Roberts crossing the line first, 45 seconds under her predicted time. 2nd place was Josh Bones, who ran 24 seconds under his time, and Nick Lyons came home 3rd, 30 seconds over time. Congratulations to Amanda!
