Weds 22nd Feb saw the grand finale of this season’s FtN, with 27 runners taking to the streets of East & Central Lincoln. Again, as with last week, 4 runners ended the night all tied on 190 points, but the countback on time taken saw Paul Murgatroyd take his third victory of the series, with Liam Harrington and Mike Chapman in second and third places respectively.
The Cup final for the top 3 prizes saw Paul narrowly claim top prize, only 2 points ahead of Anne Gibbs, with Mark Baddeley taking a well deserved bronze. In other news, Mike Chapman scored a victory in the Trophy Final, Ade Chapman narrowly beat his wife for the Plate award and Marcus Lancastle, in his only run of the series, comfortably claimed the Vase prize.
