Fight the Night Series 2026 – Report Race #4

The fourth and final Fight the Night event saw an exciting culmination to the series around the streets of the city centre, with 28 runners looking to finish on a high. Marcus Lancastle led the pack on the night with 16 controls, 2 ahead of his nearest rival, Mike Chapman, in second, with d third placed Philip Johnston-Davis also ending up with 14 controls.

Once the age handicap system was applied to the top 8 runners in the ‘cup’ final, Marcus remained on top with 208 points and claimed the overall victory. Amanda Roberts finished a strong series in second, with 200 points, and the ever-improving, Jane Deville, took third with 181 points. The prize for the most controls visited in the series was taken by Marcus as well, with 69 out of a possible 80 controls.
