MapRun is ‘virtual’ orienteering using a SmartPhone: all that you need to run the courses is a smartphone with the MapRun app or a Garmin watch with the app and a printed map. You can see all MapRun courses within 50 miles of Lincoln Cathedral here on the MapRun.uk website, and another search tool on Go Orienteering. From within the MapRun app on your phone, find very local courses to wherever you are standing using the “Events Near Me”, or more widely by searching for events in the South Lincolnshire folder. #OrienteeringOnDemand

One of the things not covered is the types of events that you can produce, as MapRun are adding types fairly often.
