Award-winning Coach

Paul Murgatroyd has been named as British Orienteering Coach of the Year. In making the award, England Development Manager Peter Brooke stated, :

“Across the country, there is a tremendous amount of hard work and effort done by clubs and volunteers to make orienteering happen. British Orienteering certainly appreciates and recognises all this commitment, time and effort that goes into our sport from all our volunteers.
Paul’s recognition is well deserved for the tremendous amount of hard works he’s put in for the benefit of others.”

Events Update

Following the advice from British Orienteering, all events and activities have been suspended. You can see the full update from British Orienteering here.

Provisional details of the 2020 LUL have been posted and, although the original dates are looking unlikely, we are hoping to run this series in conjunction with HALO at some point this summer. Watch this space for further updates…

Fight the Night – Results and Final Tables

Congratulations to the top 3 performers in the cup final: Anne Gibbs (1st), Amanda Roberts (2nd) & Liam Harrington (3rd). Nick Lyons took the Trophy, Philip Johnston-Davis claimed the Plate and Paul Barnes won the Vase final.

EMOA League: Harlaxton College – Results

Blue Ribband Champion 2019

Craig Lucas was crowned LOG CLub Champion at the annual Blue Ribband handicap chase. Taking place at NOC’s Sherwood Pines event on 22nd December there was fast and furious head-to-head racing amongst the 25 LOGgers taking part. Full handicap results are on our Results page.

EMOA Championships: Grimsthorpe Castle, Sunday 8th December 2019

LOG held the EMOA Regional Championships on Sunday 8th December at Grimsthorpe Castle, with the day proving to both dry and bright, making for fast running across this beautiful estate despite the wet autumn.
